An organised sponsored walk along 42 miles of the South Downs Way between Lewes and Goodwood spread over two days. Either walk the whole 42 miles or walk just one or more sections. The shortest section is only 5 miles.

NEW in 2009: The 5 mile leg between Devil's Dyke and St. Botolph's is a designated ´Fun Leg` - why not join up as a team with family or friends (and four legged friends) for a great day out!

Last year's event raised a total of £40,000.00. This is the equivalent of just over 1 day's needs for each hospice... Our goal is to significantly increase the financial support we can offer to the hospices in 2009. It is quite a challenge - can you help us?.

Hospices provide special support and palliative care for those nearing the end of their lives due to advanced life limiting illnesses. Not part of the NHS, these charities must raise on average over 75% of their running costs to be able to offer this invaluable service to the local communities.

All funds raised are equally divided between the four Sussex Hospices which we support:
